Bluetooth headsets
<rant>
As an after effect of this law, everyone has these bluetooth headsets now and there are too many people that think it's necessary to wear them all the time. I have to admit that I bought one but I leave it in the car and rarely do I use it. Usually if I get a phone call in the car, I end up using the phone as I normally would. Yeah, I'm a rebel. But I won't wear the stupid headset while I am say... at a party. I was at a graduation party the other day and there was this one guy that was walking around the party wearing his headset. Is he that important that he needs to wear his headset at all times? Does he think it makes him look cool and impress others around him? Is he expecting such an important phone call that when it comes in, he can't pull the phone from his pocket to answer? Are his hands so busy holding his one drink that he can't hold the phone up to his ear? I don't think he received a single call in the 2 1/2 hours that I was there. He did make one call and then confused everyone as he was staring out into space and talking as if he was talking to himself.
I can understand using the headset in the car because it's the law or using it in situations where your hands are busy doing something else. But if you're just sitting and relaxing at a party, walking through the mall, or whatever, it's just annoying. I'm waiting for the day when I see someone wearing one on each year. I'm going to slap that person.

I've always wondered about those people that constantly have their headset on (and rarely use it). I wonder if 40years from now they will have really good hearing in one ear becuase its plugged from ambient noise most of the day.
