Tropic Thunder
I saw Tropic Thunder last Saturday night and I wanted to post a quick little review. The story line of the movie involves a group of actors who are making a Vietnam war movie. All of these actors have there own special "issues" and because of these issues, they have a difficult time making the movie. The director then decides instead of allowing them to act, they would make it real and dump them in the jungle with hidden cameras around them to record the goings on. The actors eventually stumble upon a drug cartel's base of operations and hilarity ensues.

The movie was funny but it wasn't rolling on the floor, laughing till it hurt funny. The best part of the movie had to be Tom Cruise's character. He plays the super rich guy that is funding the movie. He curses more than I have ever heard him curse in any movie but it's really funny. If you see the movie be sure to stick around at the end of the movie. Just before the credits roll, Tom's character does something quite memorable.
Should you see this movie? I would have to say, maybe. Is it worth $11? Not really. If you going to the movies and there is nothing for you to see, then Tropic Thunder is a pretty good option. It would be much better if you saw it as a matinee. If you can wait for it to come out on video, it's easily worth a rental.

Do not see Pineapple Express.
I did not know this was a pot movie. But normally that wouldnt stop me as I am a fan of Harold and Kumar. But this movie was just garbage. I have no idea how it got good ratings by viewers and critics on yahoo. It does have some funny parts...but that doesnt make the movie good...it makes it a crappy movie which had some laughs. I honestly dont remember the last time watching a movie made me mad that I paid for it...natural born killers? I think Id rather watch natural born killers again than this crap.
