Going Out in Pajamas

I'm not sure exactly when this trend started but I'm beginning to see it way too much. Apparently, it's become fashionable for girls to wear their pajamas to school, shopping malls, whatever the case may be. I always thought that girls wanted to make themselves look at good as possible when they were going to be seen in public and I can understand trying to go against the stereotype of the "girly girl" that feels it necessary to spend hours and hours getting ready to go anyway but the opposite extreme isn't necessarily a better idea. These girls should still show some respect for themselves and others around them. Could you imagine inviting people over to your house and their daughter shows up in her PJs? Wouldn't you feel a little disrespected?
What I find the funniest about this whole trend is the girls that will go out int their pajamas but will still be wearing tons of make-up on their faces. They make all this effort to paint their faces and then neglect the rest.
If I ever have children and they try going out in their pajamas, I'm going to do the same thing to them. I'll come to pick them up from school in torn, stained PJs slippers and a robe and be sure to make myself seen by each and everyone of their friends as I yell out their name. And if they give me a hard time about it, I'll just tell them that they go out dressed exactly the same.

IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN.
I hope you do have children...its what we are meant to do.
